Flooding has long been a high risk on any risk register no matter where you live. Its often associated with rural communities which make impactful images in the media and press. However there are many different types that impact us such as, river flooding, groundwater flooding and surface water flooding.
No matter where you live, be it rural or urban it can almost be guaranteed that flooding will effect you somehow at some point.
