Flu vaccination programme rolls out to all those eligible
From 1 October, the flu vaccination programme began its rollout to all remaining eligible people. This includes people aged 65 and over, adults with certain long-term health conditions, care home residents, carers, close contacts of people who are immunocompromised, people experiencing homelessness (people rough sleeping and those using homeless hostels or night-shelters) and frontline health and social care workers.
The flu vaccination programme has already commenced, with rollout from 1 September, for pregnant women, two and three-year-olds and school-aged children.
People can book via the NHS App, online at nhs.uk/bookflu, or by calling 119.
