Are you passionate about helping your community prepare for emergencies? Do you want to learn skills that could make a real difference during a flood event?
If you're already serving as a Community Emergency Volunteer or Flood Warden, these workshops are for you!
Wiltshire Council and the Environment Agency is inviting flood wardens and emergency community volunteers to take part in Flood Warden Workshops this September! These interactive and informative sessions are designed to support and empower local volunteers who play a vital role in building community resilience.
Workshop Dates & Locations:
- Marlborough – Tuesday, 16th September
- Salisbury – Tuesday, 30th September
What’s in Store:
Each workshop will be a full day of learning, sharing, and networking. Activities include:
- Tabletop exercises to simulate real-life flood scenarios
- Presentations from experts in emergency planning and flood response
- Real-life case studies from communities across Wiltshire
- Stands and displays showcasing useful resources and local initiatives
Whether you're a seasoned flood warden or just starting out, this is a great opportunity to build your knowledge, connect with others, and strengthen your community’s preparedness.
