Interesting Fact

Swindon Mind was originally founded in 1990 only recently becoming Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind in 2018. It is a registered charity and a Local Mind Association (LMA) affiliated to National Mind, although independent of it. 

Responsibilities

To provide mental health advice, support and services to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem in Swindon and Gloucestershire. Services include The Junction, Swindon Wellbeing Service, Self-Harmony Counselling, Access, Employment Support and Young Persons Support. 

Key Roles in Response

To provide mental health support as part of planning and response. Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind works closely with other third sector agencies, as well as primary and secondary services as part of whole system response.
