Celebrating National Tree Week
Environment & Health

This week Swindon Borough Council celebrated National Tree Week by promoting the Great Western Community Forest.

Since it was created in 1994, more than 600,000 trees have been planted across an area spanning 39,000 hectares (over 168 square miles). The Forest’s area stretches from the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the River Thames.
