Interesting Fact

The Ministry of Defence’s military assets are represented in the LRF by the Joint Regional Liaison Officer (JRLO), supported by the Royal Naval Liaison Officer (RNLO) and the Royal Air Force Liaison Officer (RAFLO). They are commanded from the Tidworth Garrison. 

Responsibilities

Headquarters South West coordinates most military resilience activity that takes place in Wiltshire and Swindon. The RAF and RN control their own activity when this is a single-service event.

Key Roles in Response

The JRLO, RNLO and RAFLO represent Defence in the response phase and will act to coordinate requests for any military support if it is needed in the response phase.
