President’s Medal for Paul Williams
Paul Williams, the LRF Manger, has been presented with a President’s Medal from the Faculty of Public Health in recognition of his excellent work during the Salisbury Novichok attack in 2018.
The public health community relies on colleagues across the public sector. The response to the Novichok incident demonstrates the resilience and effectiveness of working together. Paul’s contribution is described as “an exemplar of collaborative working and building trust among colleagues.”
It was also noted that Wiltshire & Swindon LRF, and particularly Paul is his role as LRF Manager, are again being tested to the limit during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Paul continues to coordinate multi-agency activities in response to the pandemic across Wiltshire and Swindon.
